THE KING OF POP
MICHAEL JACKSON
WIDE RANGE OF
MANIFESTO THE STAR OF THE STAR
Hello
Guys, I wish you all pleasing Friday! As I wished, I had reviewed biography book
and today I want to show off what I got.
The biography of Michael Jackson is the work of Gozzie
Pranaja. The book that was first published by Bio Library in 2009 has 244
pages. This book belongs to the category of biographies of singers or artists
whose original language is Indonesian. Additional information such as who is the
author behind the biography cannot be found as long as I read this book. This
book contains biographies tells the story of Jacko a.k.a Michael Joseph Jackson, the
owner of the Moonwalk dancing style as his trademark with album selling of over 100
million until became the King of Pop. He was born in Gary, Indiana, United States on August 29, 1958. MJ's
grooved childhood story has brought the charisma as a growing
musician because of his father. So that, little MJ who was only 5 years old, had
performed with his brother as "The Jackson Five" to perform a hit
album before finally going solo in 1971 issued a solo album Got to be. With the release of his album Thriller, which broke the record for the most Grammy wins in 1984, he also released the groundbreaking music video of the same name which doubled as both a music video and a short film. Magnificent and
legendary concert in various parts of the world witnessed MJ's journey to become a legend
with a variety of album awards that were released from 1979-2001. A love story between
MJ and his wives that always directs a
note for his fans. MJ started making news where he was trapped in sexual
child abuse and song piracy cases which had led him to fall into drugs; the lowest part of his life. His love for children became the romantic side of him with proof of
the children's foundation. On June 25, 2009, at the age of 50, MJ was
found died in his apartment due to cardiac arrest. It cannot be denied that
"The World is crying over Michael's Death".
When I first read this book, I felt comfortable
because the font size in this book was not too small and too large, making the
proportion of writing in the paragraph balanced and organized. This book has
several strengths. First, the price of this book also includes the standard
category. In contrast to biographies that are usually classified as expensive,
this book is relatively cheap, which is easily available for all. In addition, book
also includes albums and MJ song lyrics, which is a plus for this book. The
author also describes the sites he saw to get information about MJ. So we can
see the site if there is still less information.
Clearly, the author also describes the story not only
through writing but rather images related to the life story of MJ. Lots of
informative images that are presented in small, medium, or large sizes can be
seen. The author seems to want the reader to feel refreshed and not bored of
reading this book. Reinforcing key points, hyping up next chapters, impart a sense
of altitudinous, taking up purpose are the best in this book. Photos light the
story at times but come in excess that emphasizes his personal nature. A
repeating black-and-white image offers a visual element that complement the
story.
In contrast, there are some weaknesses. First of all, the color of the cover has dearth of brightness. Dark color can’t enliven the first-looking of the books. The hard-line of word appeals to its audience’s age in close space. The typeface is elegant but somewhat difficult to understand. In particular,
the word choice the author let wild
perceptions emerge when reading about the story of MJ who chose to be Muslim.
The story in this chapter looks hanging
and imposes a point of view from the
side of the author by leading the reader without strong evidence. What I mean
is, the author instead focused on the development of Islam in the United States
which became a boomerang in the inconsistency of the contents of the story. Furthermore, the story moves at slow place which
are full of details about his cases against law and cling to his bad. The writer
tries to imbue readers to see not
from his kindness but his bad. Too much scent of his bad nearly makes no coherence
with the title of the book. Late in this book, the text casual tone is lack of disarming because writer doesn’t try to
affirm the story through inspirational quotes punctuate the text by MJ.
Overall, this book is exhaustive with details. It provides readers with detailed descriptions. The book review deals not only with the plot of the story of him as musician but also the shallow of his character as normal person not a superstar. Many chapter titles are exceedingly long and gave details about what is to come in the story as it feels like direct touching you. The author builds up the story with the potential to inspire others that see MJ’s effort and dedicate to
the music as his comfort zone makes him as great legend, great musician, great
singer. I am bringing around that absolutely everyone can enjoy it greatly. I highly recommend it. So, what are you waiting for? Sit and read:)
